Sandbox City Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Sandbox City. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the game, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the game.

1. Provider

Sandbox City is provided by Yilmaz Kiymaz, trading as Salted Caramel Games, based in Germany ("we", "us", or "our"). Salted Caramel Games is a publishing trade name and not a separate legal entity.

2. License to use the game

We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Sandbox City for private entertainment, subject to these Terms and the rules of the platform through which you obtained it. The game is licensed, not sold.

You may not copy, sell, rent, redistribute, reverse engineer, interfere with, exploit, or create unauthorized derivative works from the game except where applicable law expressly permits it.

3. Platform accounts and cloud features

Some features may use Apple Game Center, iCloud, Google Play Games, or other platform services. Your use of those services is also governed by the platform provider's terms. You are responsible for protecting your platform account and for activity performed through it.

Cloud save, achievements, leaderboards, or similar features may be unavailable, delayed, reset, or changed because of platform, network, compatibility, or technical limitations. Keep control of the platform account used for your game progress.

4. In-app purchases

Sandbox City may offer optional digital items or features. Purchases are processed by the applicable app store, not directly by us. Prices, payment processing, taxes, cancellation rights, and refunds are governed by the store and applicable law.

Digital items have no cash value outside the game, cannot be exchanged for real money, and may not be sold or transferred unless the game expressly provides that functionality. If fulfilment fails, contact the store or developer@yilmazkiymaz.com with the non-sensitive transaction information needed to investigate. Never email payment-card details.

5. Advertising and third-party services

The game may display advertising and use third-party services for ads, analytics, diagnostics, purchases, platform features, and cloud saves. Those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy notices. See our Privacy Policy for the categories of providers and data processing involved.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use cheats, automation, exploits, modified clients, or unauthorized tools that disrupt the game or platform services;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, data, or services;
• upload, transmit, or create unlawful, infringing, abusive, or harmful content through any feature that permits content creation or sharing;
• use the game for commercial exploitation without written permission; or
• violate applicable law or a platform provider's rules.

7. Updates and availability

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features to improve the game, maintain security and compatibility, comply with law, or operate the service. Updates may be required to continue using the game. We do not promise that every feature or saved state will remain available forever.

8. Intellectual property

Sandbox City, its software, artwork, designs, text, and other original content are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, trademarks, and content belong to their respective owners.

9. Children and guardians

Sandbox City is a general-audience game and is not intentionally directed to children under 13. If you are below the age at which you can agree to these Terms in your country, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to them for you. Parents or guardians with concerns may contact us using the details below.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and what choices may be available. Privacy requests should be sent to privacy@yilmazkiymaz.com.

11. Disclaimer and liability

The game is provided on an "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with every device, or preservation of every local or cloud save.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights and liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health. Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.

12. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated violations of these Terms, security threats, fraud, unlawful conduct, or platform requirements. You may stop using the game at any time by uninstalling it and managing associated platform data through your device or platform account.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the game, our practices, or legal requirements change. The revised Terms will be posted here with a new last-updated date. Material changes may also be communicated in the game or through the applicable store where appropriate.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by German law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections provided by the law of their country of residence. Courts and dispute procedures are determined by applicable law.
